He has worked with artists such as Willie Nelson, Annie Lennox, Carole King and recorded projects for Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment. Chicago born, LA based artist Aryk Crown draws inspiration from the 90’s R&B he grew up on while honoring his guitar idols throughout the songs he writes. Crown has played for audiences as an opener for national touring artists as well as at a sold-out, debut appearance in Chicago. From his early four-track recordings in a studio apartment to recent grass-roots efforts in crowd-sourcing, Crown’s ethic also hearkens back to a time before DIY was hip or underground.
